The Red Raiders (20-2 overall, 10-0 FVC Valley) had one of their most solid performances of the year against the Gators (6-15, 4-4) and maintained their perfect conference record, while also grabbing their twentieth win of the season.

“It feels good to get number 20,” said Huntley junior TJ Adams. “20 is a big number, an accomplishment.”

Huntley opened the first quarter with a 14-2 run, and its lowest lead of the game was 15 points in the second quarter.

“The first half was good,” said Huntley coach Marty Manning. “Craig and Only were good in the zone, and Miller was great with his shooting.”

Huntley senior Troy Miller led Huntley with 18 points, while Nick Geske had 8 to lead the Gators.

Huntley will look to extend its five game winning streak against Dundee-Crown on Friday, before facing Jacobs in a Valentine’s Day rivalry matchup.
