(E. Kindl)

This is freshman Brad Walker.

While many upperclassmen may view freshmen as quiet and timid, several assert that Walker is a loud and confident person while he also likes keeping to himself. People also love his humor. He loves making people laugh, and it brightens his day when he is able to brighten someone else’s. And because he loves making people feel better, he is considering pursuing a career in the medical field.

Walker is also very into athletics; he does football and track. He was around football his entire life and had an urge to get into it. As for track, he always wanted to try it, and in sixth grade he performed very well for his first year. Since sixth grade, he has been in a track club based in Aurora. Walker states that being a part of these two sports helps contribute to his work ethic at school, which he is very grateful for.

Some of Walker’s favorite movies would absolutely have to come from the “Jurassic Park” series, because he loved dinosaurs and animals as a child. He also loves dogs, and the adoration all started when his nana gave him a large Clifford toy.

In addition, a song he loves listening to is “Fall Thru” by Meek Mill; the beat is very catchy and the message is meaningful to him.

Another thing that means the world to Walker is his family. His family is always there for him, and he testifies that they are his number one in life. He has fond memories of his grandfather making him ramen noodles whenever he visited, and those moments and many others are the little acts of love Walker is grateful for.

In addition to telling me a little bit about himself, Walker chose and answered a question he was excited to share: What is one of your greatest blessings? Watch the video above to see his response.
