Long awaited “Night School” not worth the rave

Long awaited Night School not worth the rave

By Riyana Walker, Staff Writer

What we have all been waiting for, the movie “Night School” made its debut in theaters this weekend. Shockingly many were not amused, although two of the most well known comedians teamed up and tried to create something memorable it was indeed a flop. Many critic and parent reviews deemed the film inappropriate and unfit for adolescents. In the film a lot of the jokes were seemingly forced, making the film not enjoyable for many. Night School has a 3 out of 5 star rating. Hopefully over the next few weeks the rating will increase and views and opinions of the audience change. The movie helps to spread joy and laughter through showing determination and success. Being one of the breakthrough films for upcoming actress Tiffany Haddish it’s still to be counted as something special. As many may know just a few years ago Haddish was homeless and struggling to get by. One day she met Kevin Hart and he gave her 500 dollars and a little inspiration to let her know, to keep chasing her dreams and always remember believe in yourself first. This film was written, produced and starred in by Kevin Hart himself the film was “talked up” by him and so many others it had the viewers waiting and waiting. Even though the public did not seem to like the film it was a joy for both Hart and Haddish to work together and give the world there first film together and in the future hopefully there will be more to come and finger crossed the viewers will love it.
