According to the Northwest Herald, A McHenry County judge ruled Kim Hoffman, English teacher and cheerleading coach not guilty on charges of theft.
Hoffman was found with a student’s iPod Touch and Motorola phone after a GPS was used to track the devices. The student left her devices in the bathroom, which Huntley Police concluded Hoffman took out of the bathroom.
Hoffman was on paid leave from the school pending the investigation and trial. Her status as a teacher at Huntley High School is unknown at this time.
