“Captain America” takes theaters by storm with this new rendition of the Marvel comic in movie form. Starring Chris Evans as Steve Rogers and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Furry, the twists and turns of this movie keeps you at the edge of your seat with intense action scenes while still being able to relax with some interesting placed comic relief.

The Winter Soldier brought in a new enemy for the 21st century, but not so “new” from the 20th. Hiding behind his mask and long brown hair, the Winter Soldier was made mysterious yet still frightening. His skills for combat strikingly matched up with Captain America’s. In the end of Captain’s and Soldier’s first fight scene, Captain discovers that Soldier isn’t as mysterious as meant out to be. A remembrance of the past hits Captain in the face with a heartbreaking slap that becomes his weakness.

Marvel yet still amazes me on how killer their graphics are. With every fight scene and every explosion, you could almost feel the heat of the fire and feel the impact of the explosion. Marvel stepped it up in this movie to make it better than its previous release, “Thor 2.”

“Don’t trust anyone” were the warning words to Captain Rogers after Nick Furry left the stage of the “Captain America” screenplay. Yet, Rogers was still able to trust a selective few to complete the mission and take down the enemy, only after some bloodshed.

Although I did appreciate the effort for comic relief, I wish there could have been more of it. Since this story line is a very serious situation, a break from the violence would have been a relief from the blood and action. I hope that there never comes a day where Stan Lee is too old to make his cameo appearance in his own creations on the big screen.
