Olympics for the win

During the summer of 2012 in London, England, more than 10,000 of the worlds best athletes from 204 different nations gathered together to compete at the worlds stage, the Olympics.

Coca-Cola on diversity

Coca-Cola recently released a commercial entitled "It's Beautiful" that has caused an uproar among Americans on Twitter. The commercial included images of everyday American families while "America the Beautiful" was sung in the background in order to advertise Coke products.

Embracing the geek

There has not been a more over-used plot line than that of the “nerdy” underdog that saves the day and gets the girl or guy. The “underdog” story’s popularity has opened the doors, and has improved social norms that bring the terms “nerdy” and “geeky” to an entirely new level.

Some would argue that having half of the remaining Beatles perform together at the “Grammy’s Salute," which is being recording the day after the Awards, would be much better than the Grammy Awards itself. I am not ashamed to say that I am one of those people, and we would have a pretty heated debate if you thought otherwise.
I just spent my entire Sunday afternoon watching the third series of BBC's "Sherlock." The entirety of the third series came out in the UK quite a while ago, but I never got around to watching it. I had to go to work, I was busy with school, I was simply too lazy to get my laptop out; these are several reasons I had for waiting so long to watch.
