Colors” by Halsey was released on her debut album, “Badlands,” on Aug. 28, 2015. Halsey has become insanely popular since then, but I like to think I’m a part of the small percentage who has loved her from the start when her first EPs came out. “Colors” is a song about falling in love with someone who is not exactly what everyone expects them to be, or who they expect them to be, which is pretty clearly shown in the music video. Released on Feb. 25, the video has had 64 million views since then. Halsey, since the release of this song, has become one of this generation’s favorite artists and tours all over the world. One of this summer’s most popular songs, “Closer,” featured Halsey. Personally, being as big of a fan as I am, I cannot wait to see what the future holds for this popular artist, and what her next album is.
