All my family is from Italy. I’m an Italian citizen, and we go there once or twice a year. I speak fluent Italian, and I like pasta. I’ve been playing soccer for 14 years now. I grew up watching Juventus, all day. All I see is black and white, no shades of gray.

The best vacation I went on was when I went to Italy, and I saw Palermo vs. Udinese, which is my hometown team. We went to Stadio Renzo Barbera, which is Palermo’s stadium. It was a league match, and they tied. They drew 1-1 and Miccoli scored in the 80th minute. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was with my dad and my uncle; all three of us are named Gaetano.

When it comes to relationships, you gotta be trustworthy and say what you mean. You can’t hide anything, and you can’t be shady. You have to have a sense of humor; if you can’t laugh then that’s just an ugly personality trait. No lying, and looks don’t matter too much if you got the right personality. You gotta be talkative. I can pretty much talk about anything, and if we can’t have a conversation, there’s gotta be something wrong with you.

My favorite animal is a lion. They’re brave, courageous, don’t give a sh*t, just do what they please, and if you mess with one lion you mess with the whole pride. You know what I’m saying?

The weirdest things I have ever eaten [were] cow tongue and intestines, camel, pig’s feet, snout and ears, lamb’s head and brain, and kangaroo jerky.

My best friends are Angel Sanchez and Jason Downs. I’ve known them for about four years and I can do really stupid stuff and they won’t mind.

People say, “You are what you eat,” and I eat a lot of Skittles. I just eat a lot of candy, so I’m sweet.

My favorite movie is “Rocky” one through six, I can’t pick. My least favorite (K. Gorospe)
would be anything with Brad Pitt in it. I hate Brad Pitt. I don’t like him as an actor, I’d rather watch hair grow.

If I could marry any celebrity, I wouldn’t marry one because they have too much baggage. But if I had to pick one, it would be Kate Upton because she has a great personality.

If I could get a tattoo, I would get a black lion on my left shoulder, with bad*ss detail and everything.

If I could give my younger self-advice, I would say, “Don’t believe everything people say. Believe only half of what you see, and nothing of what you hear.”

If I could change anything, I would change racism because I think society works better as a whole and when we work together. Our differences unite us at the end of the day.

My dream job is to be a spaceman-lawyer-cowboy. The work shifts would be 2:00 to 7:00: lawyer, 7:00 to 11:00 at night: cowboy, 12:00 to 6:00 a.m.: astronaut. You never sleep when you’re a cowboy-astronaut-lawyer.
