The Huntley Education Association announced they had reached a tentative agreement on contract for the teachers union early Wednesday morning. They announced the agreement after and impasse was called earlier in the evening.
Officials are not releasing details on the agreement, but did say that a vote will take place on Monday with the teachers. The Board of Education will also have to vote to either agree or disagree with the contract.
If neither side can come to an agreement, a strike is possible.
Teachers have been working without a contract since early summer and have been working with a mediator since September.
