In The System: The Final Countdown
One of the most important times of the quadrennial for America is coming up in less than a week! Voting will begin and this is one of the craziest elections ever. In my opinion, one of the most important in history.
America is in worse shape than it has been in a long time, and even if the gas prices lowered, we are over 19 trillion in debt, almost going on 20!!! If it were divided up by the amount of citizens, everyone would have to pay about $60,000 each. Every rich person, every homeless person, every baby, all of the above apply.

That might not seem fair, so if you split it up among the taxpayers the number would jump to over about $165,000 each. And we are so divided as a country it’s hard to even say we are together. People have divided themselves by political party and affiliation, gender, race, ethnicity, ect… it’s good to have individualism, but it when it rips up apart as Americans that is when problems arise and cannot be fixed.
Now is our chance to help fix our country and least from a governmental standpoint. Maybe that will help sooth tensions between americans. Even if that is not true we need to fix the problems that are going on
Some of the high school will have the chance to vote, even if you cannot vote, try to persuade others. I will not attempt to persuade you to one side or the other, I am attempting to remain as unbiased as I can.
But something we need in this country is to have informed voters, a lot of voters will only believe what is on the media or in newspapers. Most of that is either bought and paid for by a political side or biased.
I am challenging everyone reading this to make their own decision, not allowing what everything that is attempting to influence you, choose for you. I want you to research and look up three main points each candidate stands on, and even go as far as to research their history to see how they would be able to run our country. Go to their websites and read through their whole plan.
If this seems like to much, don’t bother to vote, it will only take 30 min, and will decide on the fate of the future of America. This isn’t like any other election because of the fact that our country is in a bad position, globally, nationally within itself, and even to the scale of our communities within the states.
Decide for yourself who you really stand with, and make a difference in the future of your country.
