Numbers are still flowing in and ballots are being counted. Our numbers represent elections called by the Associated Press, NBC News, MCVote, Northwest Herald and The Voice. This article was last updated at 11:25pm on March 20, 2012.

GOP Presidential Primary

The Associated Press and NBC News call Illinois’s primary to Mitt Romney.

Congressional District

District 14- Randy Hultgren (R-IL) is the project GOP winner for the primary who will face Dennis Anderson (D) in November.

District 16- Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) who beat 10 term Congressman Donald Manzullo (R-IL). Kinzinger was endorsed my House Majority Leader Eric Cantor.

Illinois State Senate District 33

Republican Karen McConnaughay beat Republican Cliff Surges according to McVote.

County Board District 5

According to the Northwest Herald results, the winners of the Republican primary are: John Jung Jr., Tina Hill and Consolidated School District 158 Board of Education President Mike Skala.

County Board District 6

According to the Northwest Herald results, the winners of the Republican primary are: Mary McCann, Diane Evertsen, Ersel Schuster and Michelle Aavang. Former Consolidated School District 158 Board of Education President Shawn Green did not win.

Electric Aggregation Refurendum

The ballot said:

Shall the Village of Huntley have the authority to arrange for the supply of electricity for its residential and small commercial retail customers who have not opted out of such program?

The referendum passed in Huntley, but in neighboring villages it is either tied or the referendum didn’t pass.

It is projected to loose in Lake in the Hills, but as of 11pm it was too close to call as one precincts has not reported yet. In Algonquin with all precincts reporting, according to unofficial numbers the referendum passed by two votes, but as of this hour it is too close to call.
