Song of the Week: ‘Lemon Eyes’ shows popularity for Meg Myers

“Lemon Eyes,” Meg Myers most recent radio single, was released on July 23. The song features Myer’s rock sound, with a pop-like voice and lyrics. “Lemon Eyes” focuses on the jealousy aspect of love, rather than heartbreak. It is the reassurance that even through the jealousy, that they are yours and you are theirs. In the music video, you can see that Myers is looking at someone and singing to someone, but it is not until the end that you see who she is singing to. There is a man sitting next to her sink, tied up. This all leads to how Meg Myers is an up and coming artist who should definitely have an eye kept on her. Check out “Lemon Eyes” above!
