Emma Kubelka is the editor-in-chief for The Voice and huntleyvoice.com; this is her third year on staff. Emma is also on the Huntley swim team. She loves to explore, learn, and challenge new things. She is proud to be on staff and looks forward to the future.

Faith Losbanes

Faith Losbanes is the Print Editor of The Voice; this is her third year on staff. In her free time, Faith likes to play piano and guitar with her family and paint whenever she gets the chance. While she’s actively involved in theater at the high school, you can probably find her nerding out about something with her friends in the hallways.

Braden Turk is the online editor for huntleyvoice.com and is a second-year staff writer. He loves to watch movies, read transgressive fiction, and write just about anything.

Ashley Reilly

Ashley Reilly is the social media manager of The Voice; this is her first year on staff. In her free time, Ashley likes to be with her family and friends, coach tumbling, and watch “Gossip Girl.” She enjoys rearranging her room, has an odd music taste, and loves working with buddies club.

Austin Stadie is a second year staff writer and the business manager of The Voice. His interests include politics, sports, and music, all of which he writes about frequently.

Arianna Sánchez

Arianna Sánchez is the photo editor of the Voice; this is her second year on staff. When she is not at school, she loves to binge-watch TV shows on Netflix and spend time with her friends. She practices minimalism and enjoys decluttering her home as often as she can.

Madison Barr

Madison Barr is the opinion editor of The Voice and huntleyvoice.com; this is her third year on staff. In her free time, Madison likes to read and listen to anything remotely political and constantly has Twitter notifications on for her favorite journalist, Jake Tapper.

Olivia Mack

Olivia Mack is the doubletruck editor of the Voice; this is her first year on staff. In her free time, Olivia likes to paint and draw, watch Netflix, and have fun with her friends. She plays lacrosse, is a feminist and proud, and is excited to pursue a career in nursing after high school.

Ayman Mirkhan

Ayman Mirkhan is the news editor of The Voice; this is his first year on staff. When not at school or work, Ayman likes to play tennis and watch "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah," as he likes to follow up with politics. He emigrated from England nine years ago and is in a family of eight. He believes teamwork is essential to all success and lives by the motto "teamwork makes the dream work."

Riley Murphy

This is Riley Murphy's second year being the Arts and Entertainment editor on The Voice. Her new found entertainment obsession: watching Queer Eye and Australian baking competitions. She also enjoys playing with her two dogs Max and Ruby.

Danielle Rhody

Danielle Rhody is the sports editor of the Voice. This is her second year on staff. In her free time, she likes to listen to music, watch Netflix, and read. She loves to watch sports, especially football and ice hockey.

Skylar Sharkey

Skylar Sharkey is the feature editor of the Voice ; this is her second year on staff. In her spare time she enjoys playing lacrosse, reading, and creative writing. A few of her more particular interests include Marvel movies, dogs, and the Beatles. She is very excited about the 2018-2019 school year and can’t wait to continue writing for The Voice!

Jordyn Grist

Jordyn Grist is a first-year writer for The Voice. In her free time, she enjoys a variety of athletics, including Lacrosse, and discussing her favorite books, TV shows and movies. She also writes poetry and stories, one of which she is currently editing to be published. She used to play the trombone and piano, and she is now a creative cook and enjoys meditating and giving Tarot Card readings.

Garrett Heinke

This is Garrett Heinke's first year writing for The Voice. He plays golf and tennis for the high school, finding a variety of success in both. At home he passes time playing guitar or drums. At the age of three, after his sister was born, he moved from Greenville, South Carolina to Huntley were he's lived for the past 14 years. He plans on studying architecture and hopes to play golf in college.

Jarrod Khoo is a staff writer for the Voice; this is his first year on staff. In his free time, Jarrod likes to play fantasy card games and build model kits. He also likes to practice karate and volunteer in the community in his free time, and currently has a black belt.

Outside of Huntley High School, Sara Lucia adores leisurely drawing and writing about the fantasy creatures, monsters, and various characters of her wild imagination. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She specifically likes watching movies and engaging in hour-long conversations with them.

Zach Isenegger is a rookie in The Voice. This is his first year being on the staff. When he is not at school he is either at the baseball field making himself better or he’s out somewhere with his friends. When he has spare time he plays video games or is volunteering at the local Algonquin/Lake In the Hills Food Pantry. Growing up he loved Legos. He has a closet full of Legos at home.

Elizabeth Kim is a photographer and this is her first year on staff. Elizabeth loves Korean food and is 100% South Korean. In her free time Elizabeth likes to do a lot of artistic things like painting, playing the uke, also cooking and baking. She also likes to try new things and hanging out with her friends and family.

Sydney Laput is a photographer for The Voice and huntleyvoice.com; this is her first year. In her free time, Sydney likes to play hockey, listen to music, and watch movies. She enjoys anything related to Marvel, DC, and Star Wars. Sydney is also a big fan of the Chicago Blackhawks and Rockford Ice Hogs.

Dennis Brown

Dennis Brown teaches News Media Production, Criminal Law, and Criminal Procedure. He has advised publications at HHS for 22 years and enjoys every minute of it. In his free time, Mr. Brown likes to read, watch Bizarre Foods, American Pickers, and Netflix, and work on his collection of vintage '70s-'80s toys and lunch boxes. He likes just about anything associated with Star Wars and Notre Dame.
