I love where I work. I love being a busboy at Lou Malnati’s, a top-tier pizza place, not because of the employee meals or the pay. I love being a busboy because of my coworkers, who are the most genuinely kind people I’ve met in my life.

Today, Huntley High School’s Student Council allied with Heartland Blood Center for the first blood drive of the 2012-2013 school year. Many students participated in the event, which was held across from the PAC from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Today, Huntley High School’s National Honor Society announced its newest members. Ninety to 100 hundred juniors and seniors who displayed leadership and had GPAs above 3.5 were selected to join the 66 existing members.

Yesterday was the last regular meet for boys varsity tennis before the Fox Valley Conference. The boys played Hampshire High School—a team in their conference—and fell short losing the meet two games to five.
