Q: If you could change your name, what would you change it to? Why do you choose that name?
A: I like the name Brooklyn. There’s not much reasoning to it other than I like it. I like my name though, I was named after my great-grandmother. It’s meaningful.
Q: What state of cleanliness is your room currently in?
A: Right now I’d say it’s pretty clean. Usually as the school week progresses it gets dirtier, but then I clean it over the weekend. I prefer it clean, that way everything is organized.
Q: Do you enjoy any weird food combinations?
A: I like ham with ketchup sometimes, or sometimes steak with ketchup. Other than that, I don’t think so.
Q: How far do you live from your birthplace?
A: I was born in Rockford, so it’s not that far away: about 40 minutes.
Q: What has been your favorite vacation?
A: About five years ago, when I was 11, I went to Arizona to visit my aunt, my uncle, their two kids, and my grandma who had moved down there. We then went to Disneyland.
Q: What do you find most attractive in other people? Why?
A: I like people who are funny. I like people who are relatable, and are easy to be around. Most of my friends are pretty funny, or I’d like to think so.
Q: When was a time that you worked the hardest you’ve ever worked?
A: Studying for finals is a lot of work since you have all your classes, so mentally I’d say that’s the hardest I’ve ever worked. Right now my most difficult class would probably be AP Government or Precalculus. Physically would probably be cross country, since we run a lot.
Q: Do you think that humankind will ever be able to live together peacefully?
A: Realistically, probably not because that’s a lot of people to get on the same page. I’d like to think that it would be possible, though that might not be. We’ll probably end up killing off the Earth by ourselves.
Q: Who is your favorite fictional character?
A:I like to watch That 70’s Show. I like Hyde the best and his sarcastic comments.
Q: How and where do you prefer to study? Why?
A: I prefer to study in my room where it’s quiet. I’ll usually listen to music if I’m not reading. I spend a couple of hours each day studying and doing homework in my room.
