Question: How long have you been playing basketball?
Answer: “Since 3rd grade.”
Question: What is your training like (How many days a week for how many hours)?
Answer: “Everyday except Sunday for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.”
Question: Why do you play basketball?
Answer: “I love it. Every second of it. Yeah there’s some practices where I just want to go home but after every practice it all feels worth it. I love hearing the fans cheer whenever we make a basket or how excited our team gets when someone makes a good play. its something I really enjoy and I couldn’t imagine where I’d be if I didn’t play basketball.”
Question: How does it feel when you make a 3-pointer?
Answer: “It feels awesome, every single one i make feels like it’s the first 3 I’ve ever made.”
Question: What is your biggest accomplishment?
Answer: “Going to state freshman year.”
Question: What is the best advice you have ever received?
Answer: “Treat others the way you want to be treated.”
Question: Who is your role model/hero? Why?
Answer: “Haley Ream because freshman year when I played with her she was always the girl on the ground getting loose balls and making game winning shots and ever since then I’ve wanted to play like her and be the type of person younger players could look up to.”
Question: Were you surprised that you won athlete of the week?
Answer: “Yes, very.”
Question: Do you expect to play basketball in college?
Answer: “I am not exactly sure yet.”
Question: Where is your favorite place to play? Why?
Answer: “Our home court because its always a fun environment and the crowd and our team is always so energetic.”
