Girls golfers advance to sectionals

Girls+golfers+advance+to+sectionals

Huntley High School girls golf kept its season alive for some of its players.

On Tuesday the girls attended their regional tournament where Huntley placed sixth in the tournament.  Three girls placed well enough to advance to the sectional tournament

Junior Lorin Gorecki placed 30th overall with an individual score of 108 stokes. Junior Danielle Smith placed 35th overall taking 110 strokes. Junior Gabby Young placed 37th with a score of 111. 

The girls ended their season with a winning record of 4-3 and placed third in the Fox Valley Conference. The girls who are attending sectionals will now shift their attention to tune their game to advance in the season playoffs.
