Michelle Barnvos and her partner won their match with the score of (6-0, 6-0). One single player Ruhi Gulati dominated her opponent with a score of (6-0, 6-1).

“I am really proud of the girls. They fought tonight and are having a lot of fun. They are a great group of girls,” Coach Barry Wells Said.

With quick steps of the feet and fast runs to the net, the girls played very well dominating their opponents. An amazing come back from a loss to Crystal Lake Central last week. The Varsity girls are getting ready for their matches, conference, and sectionals coming up in a few weeks.

“They have improved every single match from the beginning of the year. They have learned to compete, learn how to fight, and work together with the strategies that we have worked on. They are coming together as a team,” Wells said.

The girls are working very hard this season and want to accomplish their team goals. Congratulations to the Red Raiders. The girls will be playing Schaumburg on Wednesday Oct. 2 and Dundee Crown Thursday Oct. 3.
