Clicking on the new Ken Carson album, fans were excited because his other albums were a big hit on social media platforms; but, this album, “More Chaos,” fell short of the chaos fans could have had.
“More Chaos” was released on April 11 and was a follow-up album to “A Great Chaos,” which came out in 2023 and was a big hit with fans. “More Chaos” has 22 songs on the album and has a run time of one hour and two minutes.
The first song on “More Chaos” is “Lord of Chaos” and I do not know how to feel about the repetitive word play. This is a subpar song with electric beats, which gives the feeling of being at a concert or hearing the song live. The song had the most diverse lyrics which says a lot about his album. Overall, the first song on “More Chaos” had a nice beat and some catchy lyrics.
The other songs on this album were not out of this world, to say the least. Most of them were just filled with the same lyrics being sung over and over again. The songs contain the same beats and the same beat drops; all of the songs contained the same vibe as all of the others. If Carson was trying to make a cop and paste album, he did it.
The only song I added to my playlist was the last song on the album called “Off The Meter,” which features Playboi Carti and Destroy Lonely. This is the only song on the album that contains a different beat and better lyrics. It had a catchy tone, and Carti’s part was very well done.
Overall, this album is not something I would listen to again and I would not recommend it to others.
