“Terrifier 3” is a horror movie franchise that was released on Oct. 11, directed by Damien Leone.
The movie is about Art the Clown who came back with Victoria Heyes to get revenge on the main character Scienna. Sienna and her brother Jonathan survived his massacre five years ago and tried to rebuild their lives, but he came back.
In general, the movie is pretty interesting and scary. Some people think it was scary only for little kids, but personally for me, it was so scary that I almost cried.
It is definitely not for the faint of heart. The movie mostly was focused on the clown’s murders and the actual plot with the characters comes a little later. I will not say that the plot is interesting– especially for people that have not watched the other parts of the movie– but otherwise you can understand what happened before.
It was interesting to learn about what Art the Clown is; he is pure evil that came out of nowhere, and he is immortal. Many people say that there were too many gore effect: some people liked it and some of them did not. Personally, I think it was the main thing in the movie. These gore effects were on top and literally gave chills and disgust.
The actors played their roles very well, as Lauren LaVera (Scienna) was good at portraying PTSD, and David Howard Thornton’s (Art the Clown) miming experience was apparent for sure. Other actors preformed great as well, even though their screen time was not that long.
There were some funny and sad moments. The only thing I am wondering about is how people cannot capture him on cameras in the buildings. This movie is much better than the first two, and I would recommend it if you are a person who likes to see death and blood splash everywhere.
