Community members and alumni are invited to join in the festivities of this year’s Homecoming activities as students prepare to go ‘Under the Sea.’

Sunday, September 16 – Powder Puff Pre-Game Relay Races

1:00 p.m. / Huntley High School Football Field

New this year! Teams of high school students participate in a variety of relay races and compete for prizes as a prelude to the annual Girls’ Powder Puff Football Games!

Sunday, September 16 – Powder Puff Football
2:00 to 6:00 p.m. / Huntley High School Football Field

What would Homecoming be without the annual Girls’ Powder Puff Football Games? Watch as the freshman girls (coached by Jeff Angle) take on the sophomore girls (coached by Patrick Odarczenko); then see if the junior girls (coached by Kim Hoffman) can tackle the seniors (coached by Tom Kempf). Both games should provide hours of entertainment! And of course, half-time entertainment will be provided by the guy poms! Admission is $1.00 for students; $2.00 for adults; and District 158 employees are free with ID. Come support the girls in their football endeavors and the boys in their dancing dreams!

Wednesday, September 19 – Homecoming Parade

Step Off at 6:30 p.m. / Old Timer’s Park

This year the parade route will be reversed with line up at Old Timer’s Park at 6:00 p.m. The parade will step off at 6:30 p.m. We will travel down Main Street to the Municipal Building. Any community group wishing to participate in the parade should contact Tom George at [email protected] or 847-659-6541.

Friday, September 21 – Homecoming Game

Sophomores at 5:00 p.m. and Varsity at 7:15 p.m. / Huntley High Football Field

The Homecoming Game will be played against the Dundee Crown Chargers beginning at 7:15 p.m. Come watch as Varsity Head Coach John Hart’s Red Raiders bring home the victory! At half time of the Varsity game, the Homecoming Court will be presented along with their parents.
