Huntley’s Best Dressed Senior Edition: Zoe Ratner

By Ashley Reilly

Walking into school, arms linked with her best friend, senior Zoe Ratner feels comfortable and confident in this winter look on Feb. 20. Ratner does a fabulous job creating an outfit that is warm enough for the chilly weather outside, but not too warm so that she can be cool and comfortable in her classes.

Ratner’s style does not only incorporate her clothing choice, but her makeup and jewelry also play a vital role in her outfit.

“When I plan my makeup look, I usually do a very natural look on a daily basis,” Ratner said. “If I am dressing up fancy then I will wear a little extra.”

As Ratner is very passionate about makeup it can completely change her look. She uses softer makeup with bold lashes to help keep the theme of a simple and cozy outfit. She will even pursue doing friends makeup for special events like prom because she loves creating new looks.

Ratner also considers her glasses and her hair when creating a look.

“I chose an updo for this look because I like to wear my hair up with my glasses. I think that a ponytail pairs well with the frames.” Ratner said.

Yes it truly does, the simple hair and makeup draw attention to the frames which contour Ratner’s face extremely well. Finally, while creating this outfit, she keeps 3 things in mind: comfort, warmth, and matching well with her shoes. Ratner’s Vans go quite well with this outfit and they are not too summery, but also show her want for winter to be over.
