Coffee talk with Grace
December 2, 2020
With the holidays right around the corner, coffee shops are beginning to introduce their seasonal drinks. This past week I went to Starbucks to try the much talked about Caramel Bruleé Latte that is on the menu during the holiday season. Many of my friends raved about this drink so I figured that it would be appropriate to give it a try and let you know my thoughts!
This drink comes in two different forms; one being served hot and the other being served in frappuccino form. Personally, I enjoy hot drinks over cold drinks so I ordered the hot Caramel Bruleé Latte. This drink was around $6 for a grande due to the fact that it is a seasonal drink so it was a bit more expensive; however, I think that it was worth it. The presentation of the drink was very cute and appropriate given the holiday seasons are approaching. Personally, I love Starbucks winter cups because they are simply adorable and very festive.
I sat down after receiving the drink and took my first sip. My mouth was met with a creamy caramel taste mixed with a Christmas feeling. As I pulled away from the cup, I simply wanted to drink more. The drink had an explosion of flavor that kept me interested. The Caramel Bruleé Latte was very tasty, one of my favorite seasonal drinks thus far. It reminds me of Christmas but also has a creamy warm flavor that you definitely would want to enjoy. I could see myself drinking this on a cold winter day and thoroughly enjoying every sip.
I would absolutely recommend this drink to those of you who enjoy lattes, caramel coffee, and holiday drinks. Although this drink is a latte, meaning it has coffee, the taste of coffee itself is very faint. So, even if you are not a coffee drinker, the Caramel Bruleé Latte would be a strong pick for you!
