The movie “Trolls Band Together” was released on Nov. 17. This movie is the third movie of the “Trolls” sequel. The movie was directed by Walt Dohrn and produced by Universal Pictures. The run time for the movie is about one hour and 30 minutes. The movie has most of the same characters but they added some new ones as they have a different storyline. The movie picks up similar to where it left off with the main characters Poppy and Branch still together.
“Trolls Band Together” starts with a flashback of Branch, played by Justin Timberlake, and his brother’s band “BroZone” getting ready for their performance. After they performed together they had a huge argument causing them to break up. Branch was left to be raised by his grandmother but after she passed he was on his own. When it resumes to present-day Poppy, played by Anna Kendrick, Poppy discovers that Branch and his four brothers were in a band that happened to be her favorite band as a young girl.
When one of Branch’s brothers, Floyd, gets kidnapped by Velvet and Veneer, Poppy and Branch have to save him. The pair set out to find Branch’s other 3 brothers which he hasn’t seen in years. While looking for the brothers Poppy discovers that she has a long-lost sister Viva, played by Camila Cabello. They are both very enthusiastic about one another and talk about their childhood and how they got split up.
When they reunite all of the brothers and find Floyd, the troll’s mission is to stop Velvet and Veneer from hurting Floyd anymore. The trolls were able to save Floyd and they even got Velvet and Veneer arrested. In the end, it was a happy ending as the brothers were all reunited and performed together again.
The movie was full of so much thrill and adventure as they took us through so many parts throughout the movie. The director was able to capture what it would be like to go on a mission like this while demonstrating the importance of family showing up for each other. The “Trolls Band Together” was very fun to watch and the atmosphere in the theater was incredible. Many little kids giggling, smiling, and singing along with some of the popular songs. The movie has a soundtrack with 14 songs with features including *NSYNC, Camila Cabello, and Justin Timberlake.
The “Trolls Band Together” was very fun to watch and I was able to enjoy it to the fullest. I would recommend this movie for any age as little kids and parents were watching and enjoying it together
