"The Walking Dead" starts with former sheriff Rick Grimes waking from a coma and finding himself in a zombie-infested world. He hunts down his family and assumes the role as leader in the group they are in. Rick & Co. travel from their camp to Hershel's farm to an abandoned prison to Terminus, forming bonds and suffering many casualties along the way.
