Danish singer Lukas Graham released “7 Years” on Sept. 18, 2015, through Copenhagen Records. The release of the music video followed, coming out on Dec. 15.  “7 Years” peaked at number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100, and topped the charts in many other countries, Denmark and Sweden to mention a couple. The song uses phrases we’ve all heard as kids such as, “make yourself some friends or you’ll be lonely.” The song starts with Graham as 7 years old, and from there, Graham grows and the phrases change with each step in life. The song mentions fears that everyone has about growing up and the future. The song hits you kind of hard when you first hear it, and then you come to love it because of how easy it is to relate to what Graham is saying. Check out the music video above.
