Lady Gaga’s first single, “Just Dance,” is still playing on the radio today, even though this single was released April 8, 2008, almost six years ago. The song, while is more known for its pop-beat and catchy lyrics, did not really have much meaning to me until I just listened to what Gaga was saying. The song starts out and she’s just having all kinds of problems, and by the end of the song, she does not care about all of those things, “just dance, gonna be okay,” and I think in that way, the song has some meaning other than just a fun song. “Just Dance” peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and since the release of its music video on June 16, 2009, the song has has close to 200 million views on YouTube.
