Demi Lovato’s newest single, “Confident,” was released Sept. 18. The song is upbeat and stands as a reminder to many, that there is nothing wrong with being confident. The song is different from her previous songs, showing the strong and incredibly beautiful Lovato. There is no sign of heartbreak or struggle in this song, but rather confidence, as is the title of the song. The music video was released Oct. 9, and currently has over 61 millions views on YouTube. The video starts in a maximum security prison. It escalates from there as the marshal releases her so she can go find a criminal. She soon learns that this criminal was played just like her, and together, they take down the marshal. The music video is fun and not what you would think of when you hear the song, but is a nice surprise of a music video. The song has peaked at number 21 on the Billboard Hot 100 Hits.
