Huntley journalism wins the sectional title

At 8:15 all 13 students competing at sectionals board the bus to Northern Illinois University. Sectionals is not something that newspaper advisor Dennis Brown takes as a joke. Brown has been preparing these 13 students for over a month to compete against other schools to earn a spot at the state championship and to win a sectional title.

“Pretty Little Liars” finale disappoints many fans

[T]he season five finale of the show “Pretty Little Liars” left fans feeling a bunch of different emotions. Fans have been watching the show for five years and after 120 episodes, 123 texts from A, and nine deaths they finally get to see who A is. Five years ago in Rosewood, PA., when the show started, four friends Spencer Hastings (Bellisario), Hanna Marin (Benson), Aria Montgomery(Hale), and Emily Fields(Mitchell) have been missing their friend Alison DiLaurentis (Pieterse) for a year. When a body was found, it was said to be hers then the girls started to see Alison in their dreams and in hallucinations. In the fourth season, the girls figure out that she is alive and hiding in New York. When she comes back with them, everything starts to get worse.

The smell of makeup and hair spray floods the hallways of Crystal Lake Central High School. These are smells that all cheerleaders are used to. As the Huntley High School varsity cheerleading team lines up in between the bright orange ropes, they can no longer control their nerves.

She scored 7 points and had 4 assists in the 62-19 win over Streamwood and had a career high of 18 points on six 3-pointers in a 47-46 win over St Viator.
