'Mirror, Mirror' is a great family movie and only that.
Freshman Emily Benz, freshman Linda Kay Haddad, and sophomore Olivia Krewer are the only students from Huntley High School to win the Read for a Lifetime Achievement Award issued by Secretary of State and State Librarian Jesse White this year.
The LRC is decked out with activities and prizes for National Library Week (April 9 – 13). Not all of district 158 celebrates libraries this week, but HHS’s LRC media specialist, Sandy Brooks, has always enjoyed doing something special.

A few years ago, there was at least one student volunteer in the library per class period. Today, there are no volunteers. Not because our students are selfish, but because for right now, they are not allowed to volunteer at the library during school hours.
