[Y]ears ago, Huntley High School moved its graduation ceremony to the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates. In 2015, however, that may change. At Thursday’s Committee of the Whole meeting, board members expressed concern over the graduation ceremony at the Sears Centre Arena. Dr. Burkey presented for approval of the 2015 graduation date for the Sears Centre Arena. Soon this would lead to debate with the board members to discuss other locations that would be cheaper, and more affordable. The main factor to pull from the Sears Centre Arena is the cost which is $30 thousand. Seniors graduate from Huntley High School at around May 30. The Graduation continues to be at Sears Centre Arena. But with this cost, it may be the end for the Sears Centre Arena. The board members presented a location not too far away.
