“Unfriended” leaves many unanswered questions

By Joe Rizzo

"Unfriended" is not your average horror film. This movie takes place on a computer screen. The audience is literally watching six people cruise the internet, text, post, and Skype to their death. "Unfriended" is a short horror film about cyber- bullying. Teenager Laura Barns commits suicide because of a humiliating video of her wasted at a party. She was hazed, harassed, and bullied until she killed herself.

Movie Review: Taken 3

By Joe Rizzo
January 13, 2015
Taken 3 is an action packed movie that I think I already saw three times. Simply put, I believe Taken 3 was a repeat of the other two Taken Movies. In the first movie of the trilogy, the main character Brian Mills is played by Liam Neeson. Mills daughter is kidnapped by an Albanian gang of human traffickers. Mills goes to Paris to rescue his daughter and promises to find and kill whoever took his daughter. Taken had received positive reviews and some say one of the best action films of the year. This was a great start to what could have been even better series.

Movie Review: Top Five

By Joe Rizzo
December 14, 2014
Some movies bring you joy, some movies scare you, while others make you laugh. Top Five is a romantic comedy starring Chris Rock who also wrote and directed this movie. Rock plays Andre Allen a recovering alcoholic who was once an extremely successful comedian and is now trying to play a serious role in his new movie “Uprize”. Rock’s movie “Uprize” was a flop and everyone wanted him to do more comedy. He reveals to a New York Times Critic, Chelsea Brown, that he is afraid that he cannot be funny unless he is drunk or high. To save his career he is marrying a successful reality TV star, Erica Long, for all the wrong reasons.

There was one question that had everyone on the edge of their seat Sunday afternoon. This simple question determines history. Who is in? This will be the first year in history that college football will have a four team playoff for a National Championship.
